Empatine Pte. Ltd. ("Empatine", "we", "us") operates this website. Empatine is pre-launch — we have no customers yet, so no client or firm data is being processed by our software. This notice covers what happens when you visit empatine.com, use the contact form, or email us.

What this website collects

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to give us:

• Through the contact form: your name, work email address, firm name, firm type, firm size, your role, and anything you write in the free-text field.
• If you email us directly at hello@empatine.com: whatever that email contains.

There's no account and nothing to log in to on this website.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, general device and browser type. Google Analytics does not run, and sets no cookies, until you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit; you can decline, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

This site's typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests a font file from Google's servers regardless of your analytics choice. That request doesn't set cookies or track you, but it is a request to a third party, so it's disclosed here.

How we use your information

We use what you send us through the contact form or by email to reply to you, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to third parties for their own marketing. We keep it for as long as we need it to respond to you and follow up, then delete it.

Your rights

Empatine Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore company, so Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) applies to how we handle your information. Because our infrastructure runs in the EU, we also apply the standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where relevant.

Under both, you can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Use the contact details below.

The Empatine platform

This notice covers the empatine.com website. Once the Empatine platform has customers, how it handles a firm's data will be governed by a separate data processing agreement attached to that firm's contract, not this page.
